Arriving by Air
You can fly into Denver International Airport (DEN) or Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE).
If you’re planning on renting a car, we recommend flying into DEN because the drive to Vail is beautiful. If you’re not renting a car, you can still fly into Denver and catch a ride with Epic Mountain Express or another ground transportation provider.

Vail is located approximately 100 miles west from Denver and about two hours from DEN. All major airlines service the DEN daily, including:

Eagle County regional Airport (EGE): Conveniently located 35 miles west of Vail, two major carriers provide service to this airport on a seasonal basis:

Free Vail Bus System
Vail has an amazing in-town shuttle bus service running from village to village. In fact, the town's bus service is considered to be the largest free transportation system in the country offering its guests timely service to and from Vail Mountain and throughout town. Please ask your hotel concierge for a printed bus schedule to help you get around Vail Village.
